Help! I'm melting!!! That's how it's been feeling these last few days here in Cascade as temperatures have been lingering in the mid to high nineties! Forecast this morning was calling for temps to reach 101 today, as I write this. For a minute, I thought I was back in Texas! The difference, though, is that, here, one can get under a shade and cool off. Here, the temperatures drop at night and one wakes up to cooler morning temps. Here, these temperatures don't linger for months at a time....

How do we teach the best way of employing Artificial Intelligence when even those at the forefront...

    Alan Sculley|Jul 27, 2023

TobyMac remembers going to his first official songwriting session for his current album, “Life After Death,” and it wasn’t the usual pleasant feeling. “I was driving out there and I was like ‘What am I doing? Am I going to write a song like everything’s back to normal?’” he recalled in a recent phone interview. “It made me sick, almost, honestly.” Normally, writing songs with a collaborator would be exciting, something to anticipate as an artist wonders if some creative magic will happen in that writing room that day. But these weren’t norma...

Nancy Royan, Librarian, Wedsworth Memorial Library|Jul 27, 2023

Cascade has evolved over time. Buildings have come and gone. Buildings have changed ownership or morphed from one business to another.
