The Badger boys were back on the court this past weekend. After a long holiday break, the Badgers loaded up Friday and travelled to Heart Butte to take on the Warriors.

The JV started the evening off right with a great team effort. The young Badgers scored 63 points and the team had 21 assists enroute to a 63-35 victory. The team had its best rebounding effort of the season pulling in 61 boards.

Trent Lane led the Badger scoring with 18 and added 13 rebounds. Lane Ethridge hit two 3 pointers and finished with 15 points. Drake Lange's shot has been hot in practice and that translated to his best shooting night of the season; he sank 3 triples and finished with 9 points. Peyton Hauk had his usual all around performance scoring 6, adding 8 rebounds, along with 5 assists. Josh Creveling followed suit scoring 7 of his own, dishing 6 assists and had a season high 13 rebounds. Conner Mann added 11 rebounds, scored 4 and had 3 steals to lead the Badger press.

The win puts the JV at 5-1 on the season.

Next up, the Varsity had their shot at the defending 10C Champion Warriors. The Badgers played a great game with awesome energy. The result was the best team win of the season as the Badgers dominated the contest and came out with a 72-45 victory.
