Lady Badgers' December Games

On December 19 the Shelby Coyotes came to Cascade and played a tough game, resulting in a 42-28 loss for the Badgers. The Badgers did pound the board and outrebounded the Coyotes 43-35 and had 6 assists to their 0. Unfortunately, the Badgers were outshot from long range by 18 points, that was the difference in the game. The Badgers did use great hustle to keep it close 20-12 in the first half. Injuries made it tough for the Badgers for them to keep that pace. Aubrey Hammett did dominate the boards with 13 to lead the Badgers. Sophia Mortag also had 8 rebounds from the point guard position.
