The Cascade Senior/Community Center held its annual "Breakfast With Santa" Saturday morning. Santa and Mrs. Claus came to pose with children (and some adults) as the children told them how nice they had been throughout the year, and shared what they wanted for Christmas. The Cascade High School boys' basketball season began last Friday as the Badger JV team welcomed Helena Christian for their season opener. Ruth Fayler, 88, died December 7, 2023 surrounded by her daughters following a long battle with cancer. The Cascade Lady Badgers open the season with two solid victories at home. The first game saw the Badgers down early but using strong defense and great rebounding saw the Badgers pull out a 39-32 victory over Helena Christian.
