District Music Festival was held last Thursday and Friday, April 11 and 12 in Great Falls. The musicians from Cascade High School did an awesome job representing our school! Thursday saw the High School Band travel to the University of Providence to perform as a large group. They played two prepared pieces as well as doing some sight reading. Thursday, March 21 was a busy day for the music students at Cascade School! We hosted our annual Folk Dancing Day and evening event for families. The students in EK-8 learned several folk dances throughout the school day made possible by David Casey on the piano and mandolin and Jennifer Skogley as the caller. Leap Day (February 29) is almost here and it’s time to celebrate this once every 4 years event with our annual Music In Our Schools Month Concert and Turkey Dinner presented by the Cascade Music Department! This is a date change, so be sure and mark your calendars so you won’t miss this wonderful event! The concert and turkey dinner will be Thursday, February 29. Cascade Public School is pleased to announce a very special event coming up on May 11, 2023. The Annual Spring Music Concert and Art Gala will be that evening, with the concert beginning at 7:00 pm in the north gym, This concert is the last one of this school year and will feature all the bands and choir in grades 5-12. The Cascade High School Band students travelled to Great Falls last Thursday and Friday to participate in the annual District Music Festival.
