Ulm News

Hello April! It seems to me like it came in fast with Easter being the day before. The Ulm Community turned out in full force for the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. We estimate that around 300 kids participated with all their cute outfits and baskets, buckets and bags for a quick retrieval of over 4000 eggs. They brought parents, Grandparents, family and friends. The place was packed and it was great to meet new people and see our old friends as well. We were blessed to be able to give away 4 bikes this year and about 30 prize bags/baskets. We had a fantastic Easter bunny this year and would like to thank Reece Hastings for doing a wonderful job. I seem to remember Reece being an egg hunter just yesterday, now she's running the place. The weather cooperated but it was a crisp morning for sure. Again we want to thank the Ulm Fire Dept for getting us started with the sounding of the siren and for letting us take over their building and property. Special shout out to all of the Ulm Pishkun members and families that work so hard to get the hunt organized and set up. I know the kids love making it happen. And last but not least our sponsors. When you visit these sponsors or see them please thank them for supporting Ulm.

Steel Etc., Ulm School ABC Club, Beef N Bone, Mountain View Co-op, Bolt Electric, Scheels, Electric City Kitchens, Hastings Ranch, Dairy Queen and of course everyone who donated personally either in eggs or money in the donation bucket at MVC. It is so fun to see everyone having a great time and making memories.

Ulm Bible Church had a huge brunch feed before the service on Easter Sunday. There's always more food than people and its so yummy. Afterwards we had a full house for our celebration of the Lord's resurrection. We had wonderful special music by a quartet of ladies and good fellowship afterwards. This last week also wrapped up our Wednesday night Truth Trackers group. We had a potluck and game night for all the families. There were prizes for the winners and everyone had fun getting to hang out together. We hope to see all them back for Vacation Bible School this summer and lots more of their friends.

The next big thing in Ulm is Mountain View Co-ops open house this weekend on Saturday the 6th. They will be having drawings for prizes and sales and a $5 lunch special. There will be vendors outside and we are just praying for good weather and a great turn out for this also. Come get some lunch and hang out with each other.
