Working Meeting for Street Code Update Ordinance

A working meeting regarding an ordinance to update Cascade’s code was held on Monday, February 5, at Cascade Town Hall. In attendance were Ralph Schnider, Jodie Campbell, Kristin Riley, Becca Wood, and Skip Reissing, as well as this reporter.
The matters discussed were in regard to title 12 of the official code of the town of Cascade. Title 12 involves streets, sidewalks, trees, and shrubbery. The meeting largely consisted of proposals to update the language of certain statements in title 12 in order to make them more clear.
The ordinance being worked on in this meeting will be presented to the town council once it is finished. Thank you to our town representatives for your continued efforts in making Cascade a great place to live!
