Wedsworth Hall Installs Sound System with Grant Funds Awarded by Friends of the Black & Gold

January 18, 2024

Friends of the Black & Gold is proud to award Wedsworth Hall in Cascade a $2,000 Micro-Grant. Funds for this grant were raised at the past Black & Gold Ball and Auction.

"The goal for this grant is to purchase and install a professional PA system in Wedsworth Hall." says Kendra McEwen, former Town Hall Assistant. "The Hall is used for a number of events throughout the year including weddings, private parties, community events, public meetings and so much more. An adequate sound system is important for all of these events and will make the use of the Hall more convenient and enjoyable for everyone."

Friends of the Black & Gold is committed to inspiring enthusiasm, developing ideas and generating funds to support and enrich youth and family activities in Cascade and surrounding communities. Through members of Cascade, Wolf Creek and Ulm, working to raise funds, we are able to offer this grant program. The Micro-Grant Program enables us to boost the activities available to the kids and families in our communities as well as provide an opportunity for other community organizations to do the same.

Any group involved with youth and family activities in Cascade, Wolf Creek, and Ulm may apply. For more information follow us on Facebook and Instagram or find our Micro-Grant application at: http://bit.ly/BG_Grant_Application.
