Ulm News

October 19, 2023

Not a ton of News in Ulm but fall has hit and it's a gorgeous place to be, even though were getting a little spooky already. bwahahaha ! Check out the pictures they're pretty fantastic.

The Ulm Pinochle club met at Deb Hanson's house last Monday night to have a little fun. There were 5 subs as things were not working out for a few of us. Thank goodness for people willing to fill in for us. Juanita kicked some butt and got High score and 1000 aces, Deb gout a double pinochle and Kyle Baker (one of our subs) ended up with low score. There is never a dull moment when 12 lady's get together and play cards. Can't wait to be back at it myself next month.

The Truth Trackers group is off to a splendid start at the Ulm Bible Church. We have between 10-12 kids so far and we are hoping for more. We are learning about why we were created and what we were put on earth to do. This week the kids wanted to pray especially for Harper Spurzem. They are so compassionate. Hopefully she will be back with us soon. The church is having a harvest potluck on the 29th right after church. Everyone is invited. Church starts at 11:00 and we are usually starting to eat by 12:15. There is so much to be thankful for so why not celebrate.

There will be a 4-H fair at the Family Living Center at the fairgrounds on Oct 22nd at 2:00. This is to showcase to the public what 4-H is all about. Kids will have some projects there, we will be sharing about volunteer opportunities, There will be lots of information given by leaders and members. So if you have ever wondered just what we do or how 4-H works, come join us at the fairgrounds on the 22nd at 2:00
