Augusta's Rodeo weekend featured live music at the Lazy B on Friday, followed by the Wapiti Run on Saturday morning and the "Love, Music and Rock and Roll" Parade in the afternoon, and culminating Sunday with the Augusta American Legion Rodeo, one of Montana's oldest. In 2005, it was named Montana's Tourism Event of The Year by Governor Brian Schweitzer and the Montana Tourism Advisory Council, according to the Augusta Chamber of Commerce.
