Ulm News

Hello from Ulm. I'm way behind so hold on for all the news.

First of all I want to express my sincere condolances to the family of Bob Loague. Bob has been a staple here in Ulm and also in the car world. Please pray for all of his family and friends who are missing him dearly. There will ba a Celebration of Life (and what a life he lived) on July 16th at the Black Eagle Memorial Park at 2:00. Come hear some stories and tell some stories and celebrate Bob.

On a happier note, I also forgot all the June birthdays, so here is a list of all the birthdays we are having this month: Chris Olson, 1st; Kava Huestis, 2nd; Pat and Mike Ober, 4th; Edward Formell, 6th; Gred Beyer, 7th; Kory Kennedy and Katie Marquis Caldwell, 8th; Tanya Hunt (mt awesome Daghter), 9th; Tara Leveque, 10th; Terri Bogden and Raina Irvin, 13th; Tracy Collins-Martin, 14th; Zaneta Ripenburg, 17th; Bri Henrie, 18th; Robert Barnett, 22nd; Rhonda Kohles,23rd; DiAnn Rogers ,24th; Bryan Smith, 26th; Kitti Ober and Chuck Cummings, 27th; Ashtyn Schletter, 28th; Courtney Stone, 29th; Russelll Barnett, 30th. Happy Birthday!

The Cascade County 4-H Camp was last Sunday-Wednesday and it was a blast! Our theme was Roundup at Camp Rotary. The weather held out for the most part. The food was fantastic as always (really the only reason I go) ;-) We had an astrology lesson complete with really cool telescopes and hands on star finding charts. We had both archery and air rifle, braclete making, an Escape room, Dutch Oven cooking workshop, Dance lessons and Roping lessons. All of these workshops are put on by the Jr directors except the shooting sports. It's so amazing and cool to see the older 4-Hrs conduct a class and teach the rest of them. It's really what 4-H is all about. We had campfire and songs and smores and of course the last night we dance! It's everyones favorite and they go hard. You just can't beat a good 4-H camp. There were about 12 members from the Ulm Pishkun group there and I went as a chaperone. The next item on the agenda is Cascade County Livestock Show and Sale on July 7th & 8th. It is being held at the Great Falls fair grounds and it starts on Friday at 8:00 AM the Sale will be at 5:30, but come at 4:00 for registration and a buyers social. See the animals, talk to the kids and put some awesome meat in you freezer. Bring all the kiddos as this will be the most animals they will see all together this summer. WAY BETTER THAN THE STATE FAIR!. We will have ALL the animals there at once; steers, milk goats, meat goats, rabbits, chickens, sheep, and pigs. Come make an adventure out of it with your family.

As you are reading this we will have just finished up 4 days of Vacation Bible School at the Ulm Bible Church. Stay tuned for some pictures and an update on all the fun.

Keep enjoying this lush green summer and thank the Maker for all the rain that's making this summer awesome and the grass and crops high.
