It was a great day to be in Ulm Mt! The Easter egg hunt was spectacular with more than 300 participants. There were a ton of hard working 4-Hr's that made it all come together, which in turn made some very happy children. The Easter bunny was posing for pics, parents were videoing and taking pictures for memorable moments. Neighbors were visiting and the fire trucks were all shined up and ready for kids to dream of being firefighters. It was a beautiful day and the wind didn't pick up terribly until later on. The whole hunt took less than 2 minutes! Crazy funny how fast they can pick up almost 5000 eggs. Then there was the crazy opening of the eggs to see if there was a prize tag in it or money or more candy! So much of everything. There were 2 bikes won by freeked out happy kids, some got gift certificates to Beef N Bone which I'm sure were scarfed up immediately by parents. There were tons of icecream certificates and then of course all the gold coins from Steele Etc. I still can't believe the love from them for our community. Plus the candy, don't forget all the candy. We had so many sponsors and so many donations given at MVC that it just made it so easy to have a great time. THank you everyone of you. So what do you do after an exciting 2 minute hunt and all the gifts and candy?? You run over to MVC and buy Lunch at the food truck, get some girls scout cookies and keep the fun going. They had quite the turn out for their open house. Hopefully everyone had a fantastic day in preparations for the actual Easter Day and all the elebrations that come with that special day. The Ulm Bible Church had a super yummy Easter breakfast beofre the morning service. Too much food as always, and so many choices. Then the celebration of Jesus ressurection was made extra special with great music and the message of salvation. Then for us it was home for a nice dinner with friends and relatives and relaxing and pondering the weekend. I hope everyone had a nice Easter. Next town event will be the huge garage sale on June 30& July 1st so stay tuned for more activities.
