The Championship Battle for the girls 10C District Basketball crown was literally that, a Battle! If you think the boys played rough, you should have been at the girls championship match. Girl teams don't reach this level by playing "lady-like". And both, the Lady Badgers and the Lady Tigers deserved to be in that final match, as evidenced by the intensity with which both teams played. Girls were literally being knocked down hard all throughout the game, only to "suck it up", pick themselves up off the floor, and play through the pain. Although only one team wins, all the girls playing Saturday night were winners! Congratulations to both teams! See you at Divisionals!!
